Mules and haarses always do well. Oxen are in a realm of their own. Yaks of the Himalayas are also in a realm of their own. Some say zebras can't be tamed....well....like African honeybees....yes they can, but with careful discernment . Like some other animals, they are just sensitive . Or the wild as...es of the deserts in the Middle East....and especially, Przewalski's horse. Sometimes ya gotta make do with what you have ! Here's a pic of Stolta the Moose...a real harness moose.
