Nessy, I only ever saw one NBA game in person, but the game I saw made history. I saw Wilt Chamberlain score 100 points on March 2nd 1962 in Hershey, PA. I was never a Celtic fan, but I did enjoy watching Larry Bird play, he was a great one.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.
He was good Long ago, after a great day fishing, we walked into a bar in Franklin Pa and the theme was him and his team. Great time with friends. Often wondered who owned the saloon.
Him, Magic and then Jordan. Not a huge NBA fan but back then they didn't all try to recruit each other to play together. They just wanted to beat each other. Nothing like LeBaby James.
The Hick from French Lick grew up about 30 minutes from me. I have played basketball in his high school gym. His early days were before my time. But really enjoyed his NBA days. A lot of Bird fans around here.
