Fourth one on this hill, fertilizer spreader was there when I got in view, he spread up the hill to the coyote, then stopped, he took off before I drove up. I caught two mangy coyote here, now two good ones too. This one has good fur. Set remade I took wet coyote urine dirt and put it on clump where I applied Derricks gland lure

I shot a coyote long time ago, it went a ways due to where it got hit. It stopped near this hill, I figured if it went that way to escape then it probably was a place it traveled to. The set is on the highest hill for a mile or more, a grass strip comes up to about fifty feet from the trap, the trap is up wind of the end of the grass. The grass comes up from several pastures and a creek, forest to the north for cover. Coyote like the top of some hills, I can't remember how many have died here over the years. I think the driveway that comes off the road points at this hill, I think they cross the road in that area, why they like it. The same farm is on the south side of the road too, I usually catch some there, not this year

I'm very green, and when it comes to location, sometimes it seems that once you find "the spot" it will continue to produce more often than not, right?
