I've been looking hard everywhere for an ambidextrous stock for my Savage Striker. 243. Several leads looked good but even Boyd's and Savage said nothing to be had. So I joined a Savage shooters forum and made a post letting them know I needed to change my R hand only stock over to R or Left hand stock. So my Dad can use it too. He has one good hand Left...Polio. Several people said "Rare bird" One man said he had to buy a Striker on Gunbroker. Com just to get one. An elderly Gentleman messaged me and said He had survived a Stroke and just recently lost his Wife of 42 years, he had lots of good people help him through the past couple years and wanted to pay it foreword. He mailed me a Stock like I needed and Wouldn't take a dime. There are still good people out there!!! I have a new 1 piece base ordered because the Rings need to be 1/2" closer together for my New Vortex to work.

Yes, there are still plenty of good people in the world. I'm glad you got to cross paths with one of them.
Eh...wot?

Yep lots good folks around yet. Nice when something can work out. I feel we often get to caught up in the noise and negative in life. I'm a believer in the pay forward myself.

I met son C for lunch yesterday. Saw 5 cops in the back eating lunch. I told the owner I’d get their tab. When they left they were so shocked and bewildered that someone would buy them lunch it was close to being uncomfortable. I guess after 2 years of the media calling you killers it was hard for them to compute.

They need to know there are citizens who do appreciate what they do.

330 very nice your setting this up for your Dad. Had something similar happen this week with my daughter. Her and her Boyfriend adopted an older dog that had issues and spent several thousand dollars on him in last 12 months before putting him down last week. This week they received his ashes along with heartfelt sympathies from the local vet staff. That alone made us customers for life. Dave The card the vet clinic had made with "Zues's" picture: From the primary treating Vet: From the support staff:

Forever in debt to my Father who introduced me to trapping. May I be half the man he was.

I was in the checkout line at the market a few days back and overheard the conversation between the clerk and the customer. It seems the gal in front of me didn't have enough funds on her EBT card to cover the items she wanted to purchase. She was embarrassed and the clerk was assuring her it was alright, just leave it and we'll take care of it.
Then she asked the clerk if there was enough funds to cover the apple juice. The clerk said she had no way of knowing that. My mind started racing wondering if I had enough money in my account to cover it. I told the clerk I'd pay for the juice. The woman in front of me maintained her dignity as best she could and thanked me for it. My mind started racing again wondering why I didn't pay for all of it. Was there a baby at home, when would she eat again? It was too late, she had moved on. Thirty or forty dollars wouldn't have broken my bank account, I could have transferred money later. I'm still kicking myself. I'm not suggesting I'm a good person, just that I might have made a little difference in the life of another human being had I had my wits about me. Good for you Posco. Plenty of people who need a little help in tough times. To many people today seem to enjoy judging others.

How did you deal with the l/r hand bolt handle? Is it ambi or did you have to buy a new one?
