(2) 100 million dollar lawsuits have been filed. That's a crazy amount of money. What are your thoughts?

If the things I have read have been true, I don't blame them one bit. If the school board/teachers/administrators knew about these social media posts and drawings that warned the shooting was coming, school shouldn't have even been in session that day.
The blame game is gonna get played, and the easiest target for the lawsuits will be the school system due to their negligence. When they win the lawsuits, where will the money come from? Taxpayers?
Gotta live up to the nickname...

Instead of isolating the child until the parents picked him up they sent him to his classroom. Guilty as charged. For each child making a threat against a school should be fined a million.

So for others making threats we are all responsible and have to pay a fine. Schools are responsible for the actions of people with issues.
Why are we not suing our Government who has created this nightmare!

Now I don't know but I heard in Michigan or that school system is allowed to have armed teachers or other employees if the principal and school board approves it. Apparently the school board would not approve any. If that's true then yeah sue em for sure.
Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

ANY armed personnel in a school environment is a slippery slope. Are they trained and by whom? LE authorized? It's that stray bullet that will be the issue and therein lies the problem of responsibility. That is one reason school officials are hesitant having armed staff. Tough decisions in finding solutions.

I don't pay attention to the news or social media anymore. Can't be trusted. We'll have to wait till the real facts come out in the court room.
