I remember my dad telling me about Europe between the WW 's . He told me inflation got so bad it took a wheel barrel of money to buy a loaf of bread . I'm sure he stretched it some , but you have to admit it's looking like it now . Actually, it was the Weimar Republic, AKA Germany. And no your dad didn't stretch it. A loaf of bread in Berlin that cost around 160 Marks at the end of 1922 cost 200,000,000,000 Marks by late 1923. Don't think it can't happen here the way money has been printed the last 35 years. Coonman, is 18.50 an hour a lot of money? There are a gazillion jobs out there that pay better than that with benefits, at least here in Mn. All you need is some drive, ambition and have the nerve to put yourself out there.

Dave, I know you are frustrated working where you do, but only you can make the changes that need to be made in your life. If you aren't willing to make a change, then stop complaining about it all the time.
Where I used to work, before retirement, if our new hires weren't doing what they were supposed to be doing while they were working with a trainer, the trainer could also be reprimanded. Some companies don't allow cell phone usage on the shop floor during working times of the day.
Did you ever think that maybe all those people quit because they have to work with you? Are you the only one training new hires?

I think some of our problem is printing money like its a never ending supply with nothing to back it up. Like the old saying; I can't be broke, I still have check blanks left.

.. stay at your job... post daily of your experiences there ... and never under any circumstances get hooked on phonics
.. you’re awesome coonman!
Also...think about putting some autographed greasy work gloves for sale in the trap shed to offset poor fur prices
Insert profound nonsense here

Money isn’t everything I haven’t worked a day in the last 15 years. I absolutely love what I do and money has followed from success to help me but that’s not what got me to where I am. Finding something I love, having a passion for it and always be willing to learn. Stay Humble and live by the nobody cares work harder mentality
These places are desperate for bodies to stay open. They have to offer 18.50 to try and get anyone to work. They will get some. They will (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) of the people that have been working there for years only making 14$ and they will quit and the business will have to recruit even more new inexperienced people. All up until people (customers) stop blowing extra money and the stores slow down and then all of a sudden they have to trim the fat and layoffs, part time, and crap excuses to fire them will all hit the fan. People are the most expensive and hardest part of near every business that exists. Do what you enjoy.. if you enjoy it don’t worry about what other people are trying to do yto keep their business above water The grass is hardly ever greener. Especially at (hobby lobby) or dollar tree etc
Nobody Cares Work Harder

I went thru a McD drive thru last week to grab a sammich and the gal in front of me dropped $70 on meals. McD can raise their prices just a little and cover that $15/hr rather easily it seems. I prefer the $3 bundle myself. Yep. Two of those and a large diet coke, $7.49 and out the drive I go, lol!
Just livin' the dream...and paying full price for it!

I wish someone would interpret this for me, it might be pretty good! This one is pretty easy really. Saw on the news Hobby Lobby is raising their minimum wage to $18.50, so I don't make squat. I work 50 times harder than that! We've hired two new guys since Thursday, and both have already quit. The one that quit this morning I've worked with since yesterday. Yesterday he was talking to a girl on facebook messenger and she was stripping for him. I couldn't help but notice because his phone was laying on the work bench where I could see it. Today he was talking to her again, but they were fighting and he was yelling at her instead of working. Then he got me to help him punch out (presumably before his shift was over) and I practically had to show him how to do it. Are there THAT many jobs around that you can work one day and quit, get hired somewhere making $18.50, and quit that one the next day too? Yote trapper is cheating….she got the Super Decoder Ring in a Cracker Jack Box…..
