My grandmother gave me a 24dl for my 12th birthday. Her Dad bought it new. I gave it to my oldest boy last year. No telling how many critters have been taken with it. My granddaughter is 2, she should have a good time with it in a few years

Well that's my problem my ex wife wants to know about it and I told her to go talk to a barn door.

Mine was a worthless Piece-O-Crap! The .22 barrel shot 3 ft low at 20 yds!

I had one with 22mag and 20 ga. Bought it in 1965 new 58.00 . Used it a lot was a great road hunting gun but always had the dnr after me so I sold it for 50.00. Wish I had it back now. Larry

I have five different savage 24's, around here about as cheap as they can be found is in the six hundred dollar range. Some of the better ones are going for 8-9 hundred. Thats around here it may be different where you are. I sold a really rough 30-30/20 gauge a couple months ago for 4 hundred. The guy didn't even hesitate he snatched it right up. I plan to keep the other ones I have.

At 600 us it would be about 750 canadian dollars. I think it would be a nice gun to have out on the trap line. Wife said that the lady is asking 500 for everything so it's a good price the ammo and case are worth a hundred. I am going to go and see it next week when I go home for Christmas.

I bought a 24F at a gunshow last Jan and paid 540.00. It's in very nice shape.

Sweetwilliam, I'm not sure how much 500 canadian would be U.S. dollars but I'm thinking around 450 U.S.. That wouldn't be on the shelf five minutes here. I would be all over that one especially with the extras.

500 canadian is only 375us so it's a good deal for sure it's not going anywhere belongs to wife friend has back problems and unable to get out to hurt anymore. It is the last one she has.
