Wolfdog91 OP trapper Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 11,871 Amite county Mississippi	Was putting out some cameras today and this mushroom ground next to the four wheeler trail really caught my eye. Seemed like it would be a natural thing for critters doing up and down to mark . Will critters like yotes and fox mark on mushrooms?

They pictured a Fly Agaric mushroom, like in your picture, but they never mentioned the type of mushroom by name. From the picture in the news story, it appears red fox partake of Fly Agaric mushrooms too. Keith

Camohoyt340 trapper Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 552 New York	I’d imagine they might pee on it but the life of a mushroom is so short that setting traps in front of it would not make sense. Maybe they last longer down south but around here they usually last only a few days.
