There was an unattended red kettle with a sign laying on the ground in front of a Menards today. Looked like someone just walked off and left it. Was still the same when I came out of the store. Made me think of this thread. Lol

Ryan, I have no doubt that you have had racially charged situations. As have I, as a redhead white guy. I don’t think there is a race that has not committed atrocities in the past against someone. To dwell on it and place blame for an individual’s current problems is BS.

I agree. I don’t hold it against people. It’s their downfall not mine. Most of the time it’s their parents fault for teaching them to act that way. I smile at them and it makes them even more angry. It must sure suck to carry that hate or resentment but again it’s on them not me.

Can't they get some of the BLM and ANTIFA folks to hold the bucket and ring bells ...... I mean with the supply chain the way it is, looting is not as productive as it was a few month ago so those folks should have the spare time on their hands to do a bit of ringing and such.

I don't think that applies here. This is simply people deciding where they want to donate. If anything, christens should be doing more research on where they spend their money IMO.

Maybe we should type up a simple note and tell them what we think. Then when we go by their cans we put the note in instead of money.

Salvation Army big wig on the news. One says the pandemic is responsible for this years short comings.
