Anyone try it? The property I deer hunt on has at least 7 toms. Every single time I have sat in my stand, I'd have the same 7 toms come out into my food plot. Usually they travel within 20-25 yards of me every time. I'm thinking that placing a decoy in my food plot and calling a little might get me a meal or two this spring. I'm not much of a turkey hunter, but, I figure what the heck. Sarge

My first bow killed turkey came from my deer stand late in the day as they were going to roost. They see you very easily up in the tree as they watch for danger from above much more so than do deer. If you are trying to call old gobblers up in the fall, I would recommend very little calling, mostly s-l-o-w gobbler clucks and maybe just a little gobbler y-e-l-p-s and a whole lot of w-a-i-t-i-n-g until they decide to come your way. It sure beats setting there looking at open landscape all afternoon. Good luck.
