Trying to trap out the beaver on my property. I don't want to leave any seed for next year. I want them gone. I've trapped 6 so far, 3 good size adults and 3 young ones that I would say were around 10 pounds each. I believe I have a couple kits left. They have to be very young. They fix the dam just by laying sticks. haven't figured out to use mud yet. Nothing is interested in castor mounds. I think they are too young for that? Other than castor mounds and grippers in the trenches, anyone have tricks for the young ones?

If they are fixing the dam make a couple dam break sets. Illegal here in PA.

You don't have to abide by regular trapping laws when trapping animals causing damage to your own property, do you?

Rip out the dam to natural flow, this will limit the beavers movements to their channels which will be easy to see when the water is lowered to natural flow(the channells will be the onlu place there is any water).Set 330's in the channels upstream and downstream(between the house and dam) from the house

It's illegal to disturb a dam. It's illegal to place a trap within 15 feet of a lodge or disturb a lodge and finally, it's illegal to place a trap within 15 feet of a den opening, be it in the bank or lodge. Hence my problems.

You can set bank dens as long as it is not a beaver house. Your not aloud to place traps within 5 ft of a den entrance on land but underwater sets is legal. Big difference between a hole in the bank and a beaver house. If it is a legit nuisance problem to a private land owner try contacting your local officer and talk with them sometimes these laws are bent in favor of a adc job setting.
