I agree with GIbb-Quebec city for the winter Carnival-the women are beautiful and not shy.Historic city also. Tell him to bring some fur to wear-its fairly cold.

My son went to Quebec City for spring break one year and loved it. The one girl wanted to walk around and see the churches. One night they were walking around one and a priest caught them. They told him what they were doing and the priest took them on a tour of the church. He even let the one girl play the church organ. He said that the church thing really wasn't his cup of tea at first, but by the end of the tour with the priest he found it really interesting.
He said the girls there were very pretty and very accommodating.

Yeah, Canada in the dead of winter........
Never heard of the Caribbean?
Beers, and seafood in Tikki bars?
Soft tropical weather, and dark eyed cuties that call you paapi? That would be my vote. Of course I can't visit Canada anyway, don't have the proper papers.

I was going to title this thread “If you had to go to Canada” Just a jab at my Canadian brothers. My son (A) has had his trip to Italy canceled for the 5th time. I told him if he wants to go somewhere in these crazy times and is absolutely set on traveling to another country he should hop to the north. If you were going to Canada in January what city would give you the most cultural experience as well as historic or would you recommend he wait until the weather warms up. It’s his money so I don’t have skin in it other than advice. Thanks guys Be a shame to go to Canada and not see Niagara Falls if you've never seen them. They are spectacular.

I also vote for Quebec City, the most European city in North America IMO...Great sights, food and drink...

Been right across Canada coast to coast to coast. History, hot women with French accents, and just plain different that place in so many ways. And don't be afraid of language differences. They know tourism is big and work it where you feel right at home.

If you're going to Canada why would you go to a city? Doesn't make any sense to me. He's looking for a "cultural experience". Lots of places in the US that can fulfill his "cultural experiences".
