I thought MN had to cold of a climate for giraffes? Little known fact, giraffes are tougher than you think. They also get along well with whitetails and hasenpfeffers.

Yep I don’t have the same interest in watching the lion chase the antelope like I did before I guess I know it only ends 2 ways. They release birds just down the road from me and run hunters through 2-3 times a day often then pile up in my trees so we dump them cracked corm an millet seed in the hard times.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

Rabbits need all the help they can get. They are food for so many other wild animals and then throw in free range domestic cats and dogs and they do not stand a chance of surviving.
Your entitled to oxygen. Everything else is earned.

I know what you mean trapperkeck. In the deep winter I throw out old apples and carrots for the rabbits around our front door. They are safe in my yard but in the little woods across the road they are called supper.
Moosetrot I am out in country with no neighbors close. The rabbits, I knock back some. Figure it is fair payment for the havoc they cause my garden. Wife won't eat them with me. So, I take them out to the cabin and cook them up for myself and the grandsons along with our squirrels.
you're only allowed so many sunrises... I aim to see every one of them!
