" How long does it take coyotes to travel around their territories?"
At one time I pondered this also, then learned LOTS of variables exist. I'll say this. If they are in an area with lots of food where they feel safe, it might be quite awhile until you see sign where they do NOT feel safe.
I know nothing of habitat in your area, just thought I'd welcome you aboard.

I’ve been on ranches in the west where they can be heard yipping from the same areas nightly, traveling to and fro on the hunt? With the population down here in my area of northern MN some places I won’t see a track for 4-5 days while on my 2 mile long driveway I can find a new track nearly daily. Denning is coming up, of course more often sign in those areas. All over the board.

You may have caught the three yotes in the area. Like was said lots of variable. Dispersal has most likely already happened, so it may take a while for new yotes to find the empty territory

Depends on how much there is to eat where your trapping. Good chance you killed the resident yotes. It will take time for others to move back in. If the food sources are not high they travel. Pay attention to tracks and turds on your way in and out. That will tell you what you have to work with. Breeding season and calving towards spring changes the dynamics. Welcome.

Coyotes, coyotes, coyotes can be strange, sometimes there easy sometimes you are ready to pull your hair out on them. If you are tring to kill them all . If not you stayed to long time to move find more. There and here in a bit they will have other things on there brain. They will start traveling looking for a mate things will pick up .

Sometimes bumping occurs when trapping. Other coyotes that may have seen the previous ones caught can avoid that spot but still be in the area taking a different route.
This is certainly possible. Coyotes are pretty darn savvy....
