I'm sure there are many tman members that have heard or maybe even seen the "midnight flights" that the feds, at least Sniffy's feds, are running bringing illegals up from border areas to be dispersed into the country while "awaiting" their legal proceedings many months down the road. Most of these people will never go back from where they came from. And the story of these flights tend to be about the same, showing up at secondary airports "in the middle of the night". Why always at those hours? The most recent "caught" landing/unloading happened in ne PA and was more photographed because the ground buses weren't there waiting. In this last case, or maybe in many of the cases, the tail number of the plane was captured and it belong to a company called "World Atlantic Airlines".

These guys have a "fleet" of less than 10 old DC-9s that can hold between 150-200 people per flight, especially if a number of them are kids. So, if you have 6 or so planes working every night, that's a 1,000+ illegals on the move each night. Ok, that's only about 10,000 a week out of the nearly 2 million caught in 2021 but is World Atlantic the only one of these sort of "airlines" doing this contract gig...? These planes seem to show up in more purplish states, haven't seen any showing up in the Left Coast states, but I suspect there are landings going on in more "red" areas of those states as well. So far, no landings reported in South Dakota, but then again we only have 2 airports, maybe 3, that can easily handle the landing of a DC-9.

I have seen this too...even into FLA....

To me, it is a simple solution.

Put night watches on all airports and catch them flying in.

Local pilots and any airmen know where craft of any size fly into at any time of day or night.

When my father and I were flying crop dusters , DC3s, and other transport planes from the Ft Lauderdale airport , to the islands and elsewhere, we know everyone who came in and went.

It isn't a hard solution.

Shooting down a couple coming in for a landing would put a halt to it for a while.

Probably a bit harsh, how about an air disaster that can’t be made to disappear.

When observed flying into the airports what actions will be taken. A post on trapperman doesn't seem to accomplish much other than to vent frustration.

People can talk big but when you're face to face with a child in need, everyone here will help them.....irregardless of color or legal status.. That's why we're in the position we're in.

No, its not the kids' fault or most of the adults on the plane who are just looking for a better life, although they knowingly violated U.S. law. It's the blatant lawlessness of U.S. officials disregarding federal law by these illegal flights. And most people in Congress (both houses) seem to be cool with it. Have you seen any big press conferences by Republican House or Senate leaders condemning these flights? I haven't. Just another straw placed on the camel's back...
