Here is the link for an overview and survey on 2022 Wolf Management plans if anyone would like to read/take it. It’d be helpful if the management wasn’t dictated by Stretchin Gretchen’s lapdogs or guided by our vote carrying city dwellers.

"Conduct science-based and socially acceptable management of wolves"
I wonder if they are referring to "socially acceptable management of wolves" according to what consumptive users find acceptable or what anti's find acceptable?

Michigan's way around Prop.G,which was sold to the voters as a proposal to put wildlife management science back into our game laws is to declare social science as part of the Solution.I've listened to more DNR big shots stick up for that nonsense than I care to admit to.And their the ones we're supposed to be looking up to as protectors of the resource and our traditions.

Ever since former wolf/bear biologist Kevin Swanson spilled the beans on some of the B.S. he put up with, and what caused him to jump ship, I think the DNR has been doing damage control. I will be floored if I ever have a chance to fill a Michigan wolf tag with a CR or foothold trap.
