The Upper Snake River Trappers are holding their first sale of the season this weekend in Blackfoot, Idaho. SE corner of the state. Fur check in is this evening and tomorrow morning until 10 AM.

Hopefully a Tman member will be there to keep us updated and post pictures.

Idaho Trappers Association sale is next weekend in Glenn’s Ferry.

Talked with one guy that was going and he said coyote was off 50% and real tough on lower grades. Not many buyers in the market. From what I know there are some craft/tanning buyers that go there for the water and odd stuff to buy. Not sure what this year will bring in the west but the Idaho sale next week may paint a some what clearer picture.

Hope they do well, tough year for sure to make it happen for both sides!

If you go to a fur sale expecting coyote to be off 50%, are you less disappointed when it happens?

I doubt there will be results until this evening. They just stopped accepting fur an hour ago. Buyers have to get the fur graded.

Would be nice to know how much fur is there.

I know at least 1 Tman member that is there, but he is probably busy helping.

2 cats one sold 717 and the other 178 that first cat might not be right i could have heard it wrong so i didnt post them at first

Too early for cats to be on this sale except the early and held over pelts.

The better idaho cats will be on the March sales.
