Its a go for 2022. Sale dates are Feb 9-10 at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in Hugo, CO. Receiving dates are no later than Feb. 4. I am loooking to consign any quality fur, antler, skulls (raw or finished). Elk teeth, tan fur, porky hair, castor. Let me know if I can help you or if you have any interest in one of the wests top sales.

Buyers- We have established a niche market over the years and not catering to specific raw fur buyers. We cater to people who sew, taxidermists,POW WOW vendors, and the tan fur trade. One of the few places you can buy green skinned bears and mountain lions, antler, and about anything under the sun.

Best way to reach me is by phone. If you have questions, or would like to send fur to Colorado. Please call or text me as I dont get on here all the time. Thanks for the look. Otis Latham 970-812-7473 Fur Consignment Agent. Colorado Trappers and Predator Hunters.

The fight is real, your participation helps us. Sportsmen Strong!!!!!

Otis, I thought you had retired after the last time! Hard to get anyone to do anything for any club or organization anymore, eh?

Colorado runs a good sale. They attract lots of buyers for lots of items. As Colorado cat said - if it has anything to do with wildlife and the fur trade and if it is legal to sell - most likely you will find it at the Colorado sale! !They run an open auction, not sealed bid like most western states.

They offer a reserve price option on your goods. 2% fee. Be sure to consider all aspects of what can happen if you are considering the reserve price option.

Good Luck to everyone selling and buying at that sale.

It is a good auction I have sent a lot of fur up there and it also supports their association.

And no fur buyers license required in Colorado! Just a letter of credit from your bank. That's also why we get so many craft and smaller buyers, I think about 55-60 registered buyers show up.

Help is always appreciated. Food is wonderful and plentiful along with drinks. Stories are great and always something weird or unusual to see. hippo feet were brought one year along with an elephant tale.
