I'm happiest when there is dead animal parts on my plate.
We have KFC , Popeyes and Chik-Fil-A near here. All good. Chik-Fil-A always has a line in the drive-thru. That tells you something.

I have never been to a real popeyes. We almost ate at one in a airport once but the stench of the grease emitting from that place made my stomach turn. I couldn't do it. My wife was not happy with me being "picky" I would have rather starved than to eat anything from there. Is that normal for them or was this a location specific issue? Well we deep fry everything down here so ....not sure... Unless it was old grease that's a different deal but I've dealt with northerns a few times who anything past KFC made their stomachs turn. Btw I gotta say KFC is over rated and generally pretty dang bland tasting can get something better from about any Julio store or gas station....might have to walk past a crackhead or two but hay comes with the territory

If they didn't think it was profitable, they would not do it. They answer to stockholders.
Charles I have to respectfully disagree. 30 years ago I’d be with you but companies pander to the left all the time and loose money.
Everything the left touches it destroys

I'm a Popeyes fan. About 10 years ago , Popeyes had a chicken bowl with red beans and rice. It tasted like something my mom would make. I don't think it's on the menu anymore. Anyone see it on the menu recently?

It probably was old grease, I almost described it as rancid grease but that didn't seem quite right. Old is a good description. I defiantly don't have a problem with deep fried foods this smell was just in a whole different category. Yet there were tons of people scarfing it down.

KFC left town, along with the rest of the chickens. I did not like their prices anyway. If I want fried chicken I need to go the deli at the Grocery store.

I wonder why kind of chemicals it takes to make a plant taste like chicken?
I don't care how nice the hand soap smells, you should never walk out of the restroom sniffing your fingers.

I wonder why kind of chemicals it takes to make a plant taste like chicken? It might be best that we don't know then let those chemicals take care of the problem over time.
