I like a lot of vegetables... because I like the particular taste of that vegetable. If I want vegetables, I eat vegetables. If I want meat, I eat meat.

I don't want peas that (try to) taste like a pork chop.

Why are people so wrapped up in being morons?

Better off to eat wild meat than factory farmed stuff pumped full of carcinogens.

Geez... here we go. Tell me what carcinogens are “pumped” into our meat? Our family raised chickens large scale in 6 chicken houses, from the 60’s until 2006 when the houses got in rough shape. Each house had a capacity of 18-20,000 birds. Grew for Tyson. Fed a lot of people with those chickens, and my father and grandfather relied on the income. Feed mill right here in Snow Hill makes the feed for them, where we sell our grain off the farm. Tell me what we were doing wrong Boco

We eat lots of wild meat, but there’s nothing wrong with KFC or Popeyes every now and then, in my opinion. On a fishing trip, we always pick up a bucket beforehand, hits the spot when you’re on the water! Extra crispy.

Not trying to brag but the wife brings it home a couple times a year. I absolutely love it. We also eat at Red Lobster every other year. I dress up for that. Not ashamed to say we are 1%ers

Apparently you've never seen the difference in meat quality (and egg quality for that matter) between a real chicken that wanders a farm and factory death camp bird. Sad that most don't experience quality meat and miss out on so many important nutrients.

Meat has unfortunately seen the same degregation as most consumer goods. Gotta crank out the most product and the lowest price possible. Quality be (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman).

My anti list is way bigger than that but I assure you is does NOT include hunting, trapping, meat, guns, etc

I got a good KFC story.
One time the Indians set up a roadblock to stop logging a nice bunch of huge timber along the river.
They went on a hunger strike and suceeded in stopping the logging.
When they took down the tee pees and left someone found a big pile of Kentucky pluck buckets in the bush, lol.

Did those chickens have feathers or naked little chicken butts soaking in the crap through their skin?

You Canucks must have brain freeze. Apparently you both don’t support Agriculture, or were misinformed along the way?!

Had to double check make sure this is still Trapperman forum not PETA.

Can't do that in a concentration camp chicken coop .
They get so heavy their legs break .

I think it is really cool how wild critters are unaffected by the tainted feed that affects domestic meats. lol

A couple years ago when I was on fb someone was sharing a big scare about pets and weed killers. I asked why I wasn’t seeing any abnormalities in the 100+ foxes I was opening up. Surely they spend a lot more time exposed to those harsh chemicals than pets. That was the last post on the thread. LOL

Wild game relies heavily on agricultural fields as a food source. Use deer as example. Ever ride by a soybean or corn field in June ? Full of deer ( along with abundance of other specie ). Chowing on the leaves of the crops. These animals are healthy as can be, and live their full life cycle. And these fields have had two herbicide applications by the end of June. One pre-planting and one over the top of the crop.

Farmers are doing a good job at feeding the world.

Keep bashing farming practices, and push legislation against us - there will be a hungry, growing world population. JP you just posted a picture of a chicken sandwich on a dinner topic a few weeks ago. And then comment about how chickens are raised for market?!

Trappers, of all people should support Agriculture. Farmers own a large amount of properties we trap on, don’t they? Allowing us to do what we love to do on their private property.

Enough said, I’m off topic. Back to plant-based chicken from KFC
