2.. To get castoreum trappers used to kill beavers and remove the castors and smoke them to preserve the pods.
3. These days beavers are kept in confinement and have the castoreum pressed out without harming the beavers.

A woman I knew told me her teeth got loose after some months as a vegan. Last time I talked to her she was on a new kick. I dont remember what she called it but she only eats plants and sea food, no freshwater fish.

Google up castor or castoreum and you will find a lot of nonsense. Often they describe it as an oily substance from a beaver's butt used to flavor ice cream because it has a vanilla flavor.

It may be used as food flavorings, but castor is not oily. They're thinking of the oil sacs used for grooming.

Twice a day? With the price of castor I can see b’ver farms cropping up all over. Maybe get a government grant to start a new industry.
