I decided to ship to FHA. I personally trapped significantly less than I normally do and I'm only sending a dozen Coyotes and a handful of big (4-5XL) coon which may not even get an offer from the sound of things. I haven't seen much discussion on what Groeny is buying and for how much since he started running some of longer routes after the 1st of the year. I guess I'm just curious to see what the rest of you all are planning to do and your seeing for prices?

Thanks

I shipped a small number to FHA last week for the up coming sale. Couple dozen rats, 8 coon and 8 mink. The rats I shipped were through the ice rats caught around Christmas time. I have not decided exactly where I will sell the remaining rats. The Ohio state sale had their rats average about 40 cents each more then the Iowa state sale. $3.69 compared to $3.29. Have not seen hardly any posting of other sales. Probably a lot fewer pelts being sold and maybe fewer sellers sharing their numbers.

Sending most of mine out to get tanned. Might make or have some stuff made up for me or friends. A few other furs are going to Minnesota Trappers Association for their tanned fur program. Didn't set hart this year either so it's not alot of fur this year.

Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.
