Very nice, didn't realize folks were still setting deadfall foot snares anymore!

Very nice, didn't realize folks were still setting deadfall foot snares anymore! I actually employed the old stand-by method of opening the front door and yelling to get him to stop. Sometimes that method causes an immediate high-speed vamoose. This one stopped and I shot him with my 7mm Rem Mag Golden Eagle model 7000. Overkill, but the other rifle was in the safe and at the far end of the house!

Grousewit, the hole was sewable.....maybe small grapefruitish sized. This coyote weighed right at 30 lbs, and it looks decent until you take a close-up look. It is rather wooly.
