Yea buy backs does that for companies .Government hands out money to companies in subsidies. When a certain stock takes a dive the company buys back its shares and pushes the price back up. That's how the rebounds are happening and the stock market is high even tho the nation is suffering in all aspects. Make Jos look good. Just google how much was spent in co buy backs in 2021. THEN ask your self where that money came from since manufacturing and distribution are at a ALL time low except during the total shut down.

I did it for you 848 BILLION with a B... Companies buying their OWN stock. Ford took the EV money and pulled themselves out of the crapper in early nov and again in dec

Not do to a buy back the Max 737 got recertified in China, and the Boeing company is ramping up production.

You're wasting your time responding Danvee.

Hope you do well with BA. They have certainly been beaten up.........rightly so IMO. Let;s hope they have things fixed at this point.

I have bought BA twice over the last 40 years and been burned both times. The lesson for me is .....Never invest in BA or any of the airlines. It only takes one incident or accident to have a catastrophic impact on the stock.

Just saw about 2 weeks ago that UPS just ordered 19 new 767 Freighters. That can't hurt.

Well bought it low enough making some bucks but hoping it goes back to pre pandemic level. Seems like every company has an inherent risk law suits ect. Heck even walmart has taken some big swings but I hear you on Boeing.

I bought Southwest (LUV) after the pandemic crash. It's treated me OK. I had Boeing on my watch list but every time I thought about pulling the trigger to buy, they did something stupid

Stock prices are driven by future earnings potential. Period.

I've owned BA for several months now. Today's run didn't cover my losses. Up almost 3%. It's had better days in the last few months and lots of days that took away all the gains. I'm also hoping that it gets back to normal and I make some money but I'm not getting excited yet - not about today.
