Black eyed peas, ham, onion, diced tomatoes, carrots, celery, green chili, salt, pepper, and a pinch of cummin. Skillet full of Johnny cake. Going to move my Mom here to KS. Going to go look at a house to buy. This will be waiting on me to get home

Mom lives in Canon City. Had to move to town a few years ago. Covid got my dad in Oct. I found a place here shortly after but she wasn't ready to talk about moving again. I should have just bought it and waited. Place I looked at yesterday won't fly. Got a couple other prospects though.

Bout to warm that stuff up for some lunch and head to a gun show. Had 3 coyotes this morning. Two were snared and froze stiff as a board. One in a foot trap is hanging by a back leg so it can freeze too. Feeling lazy today.

PS I put chili's in the beans. That cornbread has sugar and vanilla in it. Gramma called it johnnycake. Chilis wont taste to good in that version.
