I put a ham and a chicken in the oven this morning. I just put a pan of baked Mac and cheese in the oven
When it comes out I'll put a bread pudding in to finish up.
What are you making?

Chicken soup for a couple of days. The admiral baked some bread and some cookies. i moved a full IBC cage of firewood close to the boat and split a trash can full of kindling. Got a days worth of paperwork to do anyway and that is easier to do when the weather is crap. Stops me wanting to go out and play with the spruce moped and such.

I cooked up a big pot of ground venison vege soup spiced up to my liking. Fix up a grilled cheese sandwich to go with it and it is good to me!

I have a corned beef and cabbage for tomorrow but today I had deer sausage and pickled quail eggs. Man what a combo

Do you boil your cabbage or fry it?
I like it slow fryed in bacon grease and add the cornbeef when it's almost done.

I'll turn the ham into ham salad for sammies the next few days.
The bread pudding is my favorite french toast on a cold morning.

Had leftover ham so I made cheesy potatoes and ham. We call it scalloped potatoes and ham. It turned out good.

Today we stuffed about 10lbs of sweet Italian sausage links so that's what supper is tonight. Tomorrow we're having pork loin roast, Nessmuck's baked beans, and probably some sort of potato.
