[quote=Paul DobbinsI know what ya mean Danny. That Tacoma has gone through one clutch, one transmission, three alternators, Seven timing belts, four water pumps, one radiator, one fuel pump, two sets of shocks, 170+ oil changes, one power steering pump, brakes, spark plugs, 40,000 gallons of gas, one set of ball joints, one idler arm, one rear main seal and two sets of valve cover gaskets. It uses a quart of oil every 2,000 miles. That old girl has been on a lot of logging roads. Paul ! I think you forgot about one more gasket, between the steering wheel and the seat!?[/quote] You're right Kosoi, that old gasket is worn out - .

My daily driver is a '14 Jeep Patriot. Enough zip to get where I'm going for work but sips gas. 27.1 mpg @ 60 mph coming home today.
The '02 Tacoma has 280,000 or so on it and has been relegated to hauling firewood, lumber, and general chore work. Only gets about 17-19 mpg. Had to put a little work into at after 250k but for the years, mileage, and abuse it was minimal cost. Reliability has been astounding.

VH60 you may get more than you paid for that truck. My 2014 F150 has 196,000 miles on it, I will turn it into average miles only putting 5,000 miles a year on it. The original owner put 172,000 on it in 4 years, no problems so far, a 3.6 in it.

Fishdog , the best offer from a dealer is $48,000 . The sticker on it was $52,000 . I had a spray in Bed liner applied , I did a ceramic coating , Fluid filmed the underside twice and have the ARE fiberglass bed topper with flip out side windows and flip down front window (all aftermarket) If I don't sell it privately I'm taking a beating on it . It was ordered from the factory and picked up in April 2021 . One of the last ones made to order before Ford shut down production .
