Canvasback2 OP trapper Joined: Jul 2016 Posts: 3,928 NY	WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM SUNDAY TO 10 PM EST MONDAY... * WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 12 to 18 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. For the Wind Chill Advisory, very cold wind chills. Wind chills as low as 15 below zero.

It is 16 in my area now, I hope it stays low so we have a nice Powderly snow, I don't mind getting 6 inches or so if it is a dry snow. The problem is it is to warm up and actually climb above freezing creating a wet snow. I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Even with the " January thaw", there was always some snow on the grass. I wonder of Lake Erie will freeze hard enough for Ice Fishing..

On the way back he started having a brain freeze, walking down the road. He said he could not make it, I told him he had too, because I wasn't dragging him back to the shop. He made it. Wind chills of 40-60 below are pretty common here. I would much rather have -40 actual temperature, it doesn't come through your close as fast.
