Danny, that close up is just about what I've wanted. A 3/4 angle, that I can put on a small rise of ground that is visible to a coyote wandering in...its curiosity up to investigate ...very much sight and smell oriented. I like the feet visible and the head a bit.

There is a bit of everyone's offerings in this . Danny, for the angle I was looking for, yours nailed it best , for the head . Considering the head, from snout to ear is only 1 1/2" , detail as I would like isn't possible, considering the space to work in.

There is something mesmerizing about peeling off the layers of a body, seeing the beauty of raw muscle and sinew in static prose. Imagining movement in mechanical perfection. Down to the framework of bone, itself a moving, growing entity through time.

What beauty of life in motion...right down to the foundation.

Just goes to show that the appreciation goes to the trappers taking those photos that provide the needed accurate references. Without them, no artist would have a leg to stand on.
