Never forget that chop chop sound of the old huey slicks flying over, or watching the cobras spray their red kool aid out on the bunker line. Memories to go with the music!!
YOU CAN IGNORE REALITY, BUT YOU CANNOT IGNORE THE CONSEQUENCES OF IGNORING REALITY.
Just the first two notes of Fortunate Son and For What It's Worth, and I know what it is. My two only all-time favourites. My father, WW2 decorated fighter pilot and myself waved the banner in welcome home , for the soldiers coming back. We never stopped that welcome.
I find it pretty cool to see a UH-1B, UH-1H and a AH-1 all in the same picture.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Dad missed the draft by a pretty slim margin. My uncle served on a carrier in the gulf... he didn't see any "action" per sé but saw enough of the effects on those who did.
CCR was part of the soundtrack from my youth. Dad had the Cosmos Factory LP and it was listened to often.
My favorite CCR song is "Lookin' out my back door." Drives the wife nuts but it's my jam... Lifts my mood.
