On my second tundra and the wife has a highlander. Only problem I’ve had with my tundras is I felt the rear suspension was weak and added air bags. Problem solved. 2016 and 2018. Every Chevy I ever had had electrical and or dash problems. And I’ve had a few. Nice rides Savell.

Sorry, I can't help with your question. But you might try asking a group with more Jap. truck owners. Don't forget this is a site with REAL Americans. With REAL American values. Make America Great Again, buy Toyota, n Kubota. n other Jap stuff. Just my opinion others are free to have their own. And I can bet they do. With full justification n everything. Case. Wake up from that dream!

Well according to your golf cart post, a lot of trappers drive Toyotas. I tallied up the cars listed on there, and while Chevy cars won, Toyota came in second ahead of both Ford, or Dodge. (I think Toyota would have been first if Antigov didn't list enough Chevy's to open up a dealership, lol)

I have a neighbor like Case. If you drive any vehicle that is from ASIA your not supporting the USA. I had Toyotas from 1985-2002. Almost no problems with any of the five trucks. Bought an F150. Made in Canada. It was ok until it darn near stopped running one day for no reason. I shut it off and restarted ok, but I never trusted it after that. Traded in at a Ford dealer for a 3 year old Nissan Titan XD Pro 4X. (Gas not diesel). 10K on the odometer. Trucks, including the motors have been built in Mississippi since 2003. Nissan announced that they will not be selling XD Pro's after this year, just standard Titans.
His answer is the money goes back to the homeland. He doesn't like Japanese because of WW2. Might want to show your neighbor this. https://www.toyota.com/usa/community/

The guys that wanna wrap themselves in the flag and yell, "Merica" at everybody. The guys that want to tell you where you should spend your hard-earned dollars and look down on you if you don't purchase products that meet with their approval. The same guys that are likely wearing foreign-made clothing while typing on foreign -made electronics.
Eh...wot?

I just bought a 2021 Ram 1500 Classic. Seem like an "American" brand. But the corporation is owned by Fiat - Italian, and was built in their Saltillo , Mexico assembly plant.
My uncle is a hard core, buy American, retired UAW worker. He has a Toyota Camry in his garage and says it's the most American car there is. Toyota really does seem to be one of the most American brands there is anymore.
I want to buy American, too. But car makers anymore a international conglomerates. Even Ford has owners, manufacturing plants, and assembly plants scattered all over the world. All cars and trucks are pretty much international anymore.
Anyways, regarding pulling a 5500 lbs tractor - you should probably check your owners manual for all towing capacities - tongue weight, axle weight, and all that. But I would think that truck should be able to handle 7000-8000 lbs. okay.
