I’ve heard about full cords my whole life but we’ve never measured that way. You pick up for $65/facecord. It’s all on the honor system. Put your cash in the box before you load it. If you pay more or have something to barter with, delivery could be available but we try to get away from that because it’s not worth it. Firewood is a major part of my life and from the age of 12, some of my best memories have been doing firewood with my gramps.

I get $150/face cord delivered for 16" wood. $100 if they pick up.

There are ads on my local Craigslist for as low as $125.00 a cord picked up and $160.00 a cord delivered and stacked for split hardwoods.

According to the list, Virginia is definitely on the more expensive side.

Never figured it out. Brother and I own 750 acres of which 650 is wooded, north central WI, all the wood we want. Gas, oil, time, but we like doing it.

In Northern NY $60-$65 for a 16” face cord, 4’x8’x16”, delivered. So it equates to $180-$195/ full cord, 32 cu feet. How many thousand face cords do you want ? All northern hardwood.

Now, in the middle of the heating season and increasing costs for Biden fuels; I am seeing a corresponding increase in firewood.

100% oak, split & dry...not delivered = $500.00/cord. That is up from $400, just a few weeks back.

I piled up and burned 4 large trees that fell in pastures and hayfields this past fall. 2 were red oak. Couldn't get anyone to come cut them up.
