I believe you might be wrong. I have a sale pending for 110 coyotes. It puts that offer to shame…..
If I were you I would move to that offer pretty fast. There are 300,000 tanned coyote they can't sell for that or $30 less. Some could be yours from last year.

Private buyer I’ve sold to for the last 8 years. Usually took 100 I had to add an extra ten to make the deal. Made money at the auctions, country buyers and private sales in the last bunch of years……..it’s coming to an end. How did your sale go?

Our sale is next weekend. Some here think they will see $100 averages yet, but the offer you turned down is more in line with what I figure. Like I said I would be moving for that offer, it may not last forever. Coming to a end is right.

So far there hasn't been anyone bragging about how it went, other than one bobcat.

I think the story is coyotes can't get to china and consumers can't buy coats, right now. As somebody who has had his product separated from his consumers for two years due to the rona non-sense this has led to more demand. It's pent- up demand.

I don't know on the price, but that is some nice looking fur. Whatever the top prices are on coyotes and fox, you should get it. Good luck.

They just usually give us the one avg of all combined. What a difference a year makes that's for sure.

If I got heavies I'm somewhat with the Canadians. Historically, in the worse coyote markets, heavies didn't average under $20 at Auction the last 25 years. Few years they averaged under $30. Not a lot of downside potential there. The first Auction scares me a bit. I'm going watch that one from the sidelines.

$34 on the stink dogs $10 on the little stink dogs! I saw this and new you would be close. I didn’t like it! Lol Some people just have a lot of experience when it comes to fur markets! What’s that Colorado sale look like? We would take them for sure. But dont expect any miracles. I would say this. If I had better high quality coyotes, I would wait. I think that is sound advice.

I don't know, in this market sometimes the first loss is the smallest if that makes sense.
Too many quality coyotes being sold at quite a discount from last year's levels to allow the Canadian auction to set levels higher than expecte IMHO.

If buyers are paying $35 for heavies, they are not going to resale them for less. So end users are going to have to pay $35 plus to get coyotes from buyers. The floor is $35 plus. In theory the Auction won't sell them for less than $35 plus There is little down side potential. Might as well gamble for more. IMHO
