I was thinking of selling my Colt King Cobra 357 to a friend of mine. It's a blued finish and a 5 inch barrel. I bought it in late 1990s. It's like new, as I've only fired about 50 rounds through it. Any idea of its worth?
I was thinking of buying another King Cobra for a CC pistol with a 3 inch barrel. The 5 inch barrel is too heavy for a CC handgun. Maybe the 3 inch will be too, I don't know.

There is one on gun broker new, with 200 rounds of ammo the are asking $600 for and no one has bid on it. It has 20 hours left on the sale. It looks like a 3" There are plenty that they are asking more for too, but no one is bidding on the either.

I paid $575 for my King Cobra back in the 1990s.
I did see some on gun broker a while back that were over $800 for the 3 inch barrel. They were new also. I'll check it out.

That's odd That is odd, considering there are a number of the same pistols selling for $800-$1000+.

That is odd, considering there are a number of the same pistols selling for $800-$1000+. To me the only time the price matters is when someone buys it. You can ask what ever you want, but that doesn't mean that is what it will bring. That is just what you want for it. Some of them are way over $1000, but no one is bidding on them. I thought if you wanted one with a 3" it might be a option for you. There is a used 3" SS for $628 and a guy has 8 new SS 3" for $789
