I’ve never had a ratchet strap loosen, it shouldn’t be possible. Is the bike moving, removing tension? I use one pulling from front and one pulling from the back.

I just tie the front of the frame to the trailer cross rail and leave it in gear... Or use the winch on the 4 wheeler to secure

On my side by side i have found the straps that go over the tires to be faster and more secure for the rough roads out here

Over the tire basket ratchet straps. Track screwed to trailer deck that the adjustable anchors fit in. No movement at all!

I love the smell of burning spruce---I love the sound of a spring time goose---I love the feel of 40 below---from my trapline I will never go!

I've been using these for the last year and really like them. Haven't had one come loose yet.

Remember that strap load limits are only 1/3 of what they are rated for.
So those 600 pound straps only will hold 200 pounds in a pinch.

If your just hauling a 4 wheeler and not a side by side try a Boat ratchet that mounts to the frame of your boat or now trailer.
I just drilled a hole in the front frame and it has saved me a ton of time loading and unloading my 4 wheeler

Switched to these as well but mine have the hooks on both ends. No more fighting with the ratchet straps that are frozen shut.

boat buckle is the brand I bought
