I have an LS and it has been great. About 300 hrs on it and bought it in 2019. Only problem was front wheel seal leak which the dealer replaced the whole axle. I probably brought the seal leak on myself by overloading the bucket when building my shed, moved about 1500 yards of sand and pryed out some tree stumps too.

When I was looking I checked into John Deere, Kubota, New Holland, Mahindra, Massey and LS. LS was least expensive and had other options that were extras for the others. Really felt the price difference for JD and Kubota was crazy, paying for the paint in my opinion.

By the way, Case IH, New Holland and LS are from the same factory and line in Korea. Parts are interchangeable.

Maybe....The Deere dealer by me would not deal and was $6000 more for a comparable tractor with bucket, finish mower and snow blower. He went out of business 5 years later.

Kubota, JD, Massey, all decent, visit dealers, check them out, buy the one with the best dealer support/customer service.

Depends on what dealers you have near you. But if you just asking brands, kubota all the way. 0% down, 0% financing for 84 months, they run this deal alot. Get the K-Tac insurance through kubota. I have the L3901, got the loader bucket and went ahead and sprung for a bed brush hog as well. I got a little heavier duty than the standard model. When I got mine After 3 or 4 hours in the saddle I was grinnin like a slow kid at Chuck cheese! I couldn't believe I had spent so many years running and working on broke down junk

Mitsubishi motor and tactor was japanese made which is a plus. 21000$ with loader. 247 hrs on it mowing ,disking food plots pushing snow and doing firewood. Been great so far

My Kubota dealer is a grouch. The Kubota tractors themselves are reliable. I tend to like the brand with a friendly dealer. No point in supporting a grouch.

Avoid the Boomer 8N . Total piece of junk. Regular Boomers are great. I have run both.

There was a time that this was true, not so much anymore in the smaller tractors. Even the big farms around here that run green in the fields wont touch the green compact utility size tractors. The saying in these parts is over 60 hp, go green, under 60 hp, go orange or red. I was raised green, but im currently shopping other colors....

I have a 2020 Kubota and am frankly a little disappointed. The regen thing is a pain and the linkage for the PTO keeps causing issues (PTO stays engaged). Have had the dealer address the issue twice. Guess what? Still a problem.

The service manager is also a grouch.

What model and trans? I have been looking at mx 5400 or an M series. I need bigger for the farm but an L would be better for driving in custmers yards.

I bought a Kubota KSU3300 ( I think that is the right model #) about 11 years ago. Its 33 HP and hydrostat transmission. Use it mostly to blade snow, maintain my long gravel drive way and hauling up firewood. It runs forever on a tank of diesel. Got less than 200 hours on it. Has a factory loader. 6 ft. blade and a bush hog. Great little tractor, one of the best things I ever purchased. Got it new from the dealer in Sheridan Wyoming. Got a draw bar, loader , 6ft blade, 6 ft. bush hog, delivery charge and all the oil, fluids and filters for the first 100 hour service for about $19,000. Dealer was great also.

Had a m-f 160 in virginia as a kid in the blue ridges for fieldwork. It was a bear. Had to be real careful with it as it would pull the front end up easily plowing.

I too am thinking about purchasing a under 40 hp tractor for my acreage to be used for snow removal and mowing grass. I am leaning toward turf tires because of the mowing. Does anyone have any experience with turf tires and snow removal? Will utility tires leave marks in the grass when mowing?

Looks like Kubota is the fav. My friend is a nurseryman and agrees.

Have a Woods 59-c under mount mower I'd sell or trade.
Used one time, it made the garage queens rims dirty and has not been used since.
Set up for Farmall Cub.
I need to list this thing.
Or, hire a fab guy to mod it to my Ford.

I have found turf tires to work with snow removal. But then again I don't get as much snow as you do. I actually prefer a tractor with turf tires with good tread on them.
