I run ag tires on mine but i don't mow with it. I do plow and dig with it. I've been in plenty of situations where I've gotten stuck and even 4WD and ag tires wouldn't help. I walk the machine out with the front bucket and hoe when that happens.

I guess it depends on how you plan on using it.

Eh...wot?

Thanks for all the advice, it’s appreciated. Just starting looking and there’s a lot out there. Anyone have one of the Massy 40 horse “E” tractors? The budget model? They didn’t have on at the dealer but said they had a lot of stock coming.

I don’t have anything that wet but it didn’t seem to slow you much

Avoid Massey Ferguson economy models. They're hard to get parts for. If you go Massey Ferguson, go with the deluxe version or whatever they call it.

Yanmar built the tractors for JD up and including the 100 hp ones. This one is an all Yanmar tractor and does not have the proprietary JD bucket attachment etc. Its all standard skid steer quick attach ... it has a belly PTO as well for a belly mower that I do not have. I have 600 hours on it now with zero issues. And I put it to work pretty hard. Moving dirt and rocks, skidding trees and the usual stuff like brush hogging saplings and plowing and disking the food plots and garden and maintaining the gravel drive with a 6" box blade ..... I have added hydraulic tilt and top link, to make using the box blade more efficient and now have 3 rear remotes on it.

From the sound of things, Yanmar is actually better than John Deere at least when it comes to the quick attach on the loader.
