I buy antler from time to time or I find some in the woods... And I usually buy the biggest and nicest I can find. People always ask what I'm going to do with them. The look on some of their faces when I tell them I'm going to cut them up and use them for projects or turn them on the lathe... Hilarious. And it obviously hasn't with Bass Pro Shop having it for x number of years, along with other owners. I know several guys who have antlers most hunters only dream about. These guys don't do taxidermy because they don't want the spotlight that comes with being a great deer hunter plus they don't want to draw attention to where they hunt.
