Transmitting radios I mean, old modified citizens band or hams. Possibly useing old tube type amps. Stick or beam antenna? Below 26.945 MHz. Is that still a thing? Or have we all went to a higher freq. world. Anyone got any old tube amps they want to get shed of? Old lollipop microphones? Just wondering, wanted to ask for quite a while.

Nothing for sale. Haven’t had my radios hooked up in a while but I’ve transmitted on several frequencies. I enjoyed Ham radio but when I moved 4 years ago I didn’t put my station back together. I should really do that in the spring.

Got a bunch of radios really like to have another 500 or 1000 watt amp? Tube type. Nothing bothers the Mexico City cab company more. Proper conditions of course. Little smiley thingy.

I have a general ham license and would really enjoy playing with HF radios. I was all excited about getting an HF radio right after I got my license. But then I found out how much radios, amps, antenna analyzers, SWR meters, antenna cable and all that kit costs. WOW! I guess I'll just play with UHF/VHF instead.

I have a really nice little SGC 2020 all digital HF. Used it a couple years on the trapline but then switched to a sat phone.

Just what you need Kart29

KI5PIJ, I love radio! I rock an FT818, do some other stuff, need to get a better dipole. I was asking on the chat if tman had a HAM radio club, wish some of you old timers who don't trap anymore would do some trapping talk shows or something. Love listening to stuff while on the way and on the trapline!

HF through and through, some outfits are doing some really cool stuff with HF that are pushing the envelope with encryption and such, but it's nice to see.
