Always wanted a pair , finally pulled the trigger a few years ago. Very happy with them. Well worth the price. Shearling is very warm. No more cold feet. Wish I did it years ago. Maybe your socks are too loose or your boots are the wrong size. I wear bunny boots a size 1/2 larger than my ordinary shoe size and leave the laces loose. I just slip them on. Fairchild #17 trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,111 Millville, Pennsylvania	I've filled up lots of rubber and neoprene boots with ice cold water that eventually turned to warm water. It's not magic. It's the furnace inside the boot that does it. If the water can't evaporate it doesn't have a cooling effect like sweat soaked socks can have. Nowadays it just don't pay to be a good 'ol boy.
