Took it up about 5 years ago. Helps pass time between seasons. Who else is a wood worker here?

Do some minor projects. Really got into it late as there is so much to it and to learn. Problem is when I do some projects my wife sees how nice they are and thinks I can do anything now. Just did my first little epoxy project and now want to play with that some more.

Don't know if it counts but I do a small amount of woodturning to make base plugs for powder horns... Turn a little antler and horn too. But I'm not very good at any of it. Lol

I do a little. Just a couple projects a year usually. I am going to have to start doing a lot more as we just had a addition put on the house and there are a lot of projects to get things all the way we want them.

Glad to hear there are fellow wood workers here.

Springtime 2020 I started making cutting boards and put everything dime I made off them in a fuel savings. That year I was able to pay for all my gas, a couple small supply orders, and had enough left over to send my first shipment of coyotes to the tannery.

Cutting boards = quick sales and easy money

I play with rustic bark on furniture and have done some bentwood chairs. All for the rustic cabin or back deck at home.

I think beaverpealer is fixing to be into “woodworking” by the way it sounds.

Very nice cutting board Cotton.
Some of my daughters woodworking was cutting boards and they are still used 20+ years later.
Supplied the shops teacher some 4X6 birch cants and the kids did some nice candy bowls out of them.
