I've been following with great interest foxkidd44's thread on Ukrain, to the point that it along with evening news and White House reporters are bothering my sleep. I've given thought to what to say to my Fed. Government officials. After last night, up late with worry I've decided to sit this one out. I've earned that right. Been fighting since 68, I'm done, can't and won't. If the morons want to keep this up, let em. I'll worry about it when it gets within my field of fire. Until then I'm shutting down. Not going to let it damage me anymore. Stupid politicians, Stupid Governments, only problem I have is how many more good American men and women they will take this time. Biden I just heard is going to commit 6000+ to the European TOW, That will still keep me up.

Focus on the things you can change...

Like the war that is most likely inevitable to come to this country. I'm waiting and ready.

Things like: having that scotch at noon on tuesday AND sunday.

Take a break from news and do something you like for a week in your spare time. Always helps to refocus me.

Check your fitness level and see if you need to improve it....if your older and work hard on that you will be well occupied and when time comes you will be better prepared.

Take a quaalude, It will calm you down.

Walk away from it. Whittle... Work on something... Have that scotch... Whatever you want. We talk about a lot of stuff on here and we get passionate about some of it. It makes for interesting conversation but it isn't worth losing sleep over.

Trust in the good Lord and control what you can and let Him handle the rest.

Good Lord lol, Mike and Angela have some good advice. Is it just me? Is it just me, but newbies posting like this makes me wonder. Just saying, I love everyone lol.....

Some of us bear and carry the toll of wars man, it can really crush you in a number of ways. Can a man not share his feelings with a group of people he feels like he can confide in? I'm with Case on this one, this Ukraine deal is straight garbage, why do we keep getting ourselves involved in war? When will we get a break, when will the families stop getting ripped apart due to the thousands of miles of separation and the invisible wounds that wars cause. We have sent literally BILLIONS of dollars, 1000s of hours of the best military training in the world, and helped them out with weapons for the past 5+ years, if they aren't ready to fight Russia, they never will be.

Meanwhile our country is getting ripped apart by the woke mob, lawmakers who don't even represent the voters anymore, and a generation of children that will be damaged forever from the selfish decisions of adults that would rather put themselves over kids.

November 24 2020 stock market above 30k. US is energy independent. Gas under $2 a gallon, NO new wars for over 4 years.
