I put PIT pans on a few 14s and that fixed some of their problems.

I use mostly MB 750s but they have problems too. Bridgers seem to have the least problems. I have a WCS but haven't used it enough to compare.

best trap with poor setting still always the worst one, you must use the right trap at the right place at the right method

I still think the Best one could still be in the works, fur prices might hamper that

You should try the TS85's dave. They are very easy to set by hand. You could not set a CDR, or I could barely do it but I can set MB750's without a setter. CDRs have stronger springs.

The 14 is a killing machine. Kills the same today as 40 years ago. Your problem if you don’t know how to trap with a 14.
