Nice venison roast with all the fixings. Great leftovers for another meal and some sandwiches down the road this week. Home grown carrots, potatoes, onions, celery and some heavy spices.

Looks mighty tasty Bob. Speaking of venison, I whipped up a pot of venison stew. There will be a good portion of leftovers.

I've had a crockpot going with a couple axis shanks and veggies going since 10 this am. My rosemary bread will come out of the oven in 20 min. Looking forward to my chow time too.

That stove is way too clean Boss. I cleaned out the fridge today. Steak bones and part-packages of vegetables. Will throw in some egg noodles too. [Linked Image]

Dadgum that looks good! What are you dipping in that stew, or wiping the bowl with? Corn bread, bread?

I kind of miss your cooking this time of the year Bob. We moved the cows up from the creek Monday if you want to come catch some cats, I been saving them for you.

Looks delicious Bob. Enjoy.

We’re having venison roast, potatoes, carrots and onions here too.

Feeling much better Calvin now. It has been a long haul for me, but I am making daily progress. I caught the Rona at the wrong time of year to really interfere with my trapping season. 2 months now. Could have been much worse.

I miss my winters in Kansas Seth and all my friends I enjoyed seeing each season. We had some good eatin' that is for sure with you and MIck. Great times for sure.

That herd of cattle was a pain for a cat trapper to keep good sets working. You could count on getting lots of remake practice every 3-4 days as they worked their way thru that section. The nosey buggers couldn't leave perfectly good cat sets alone so a fella could get a few more cats each week. If that section wasn't such a good cat area I would have moved to another section.
