Skitching in these parts. The look of the drivers face as they approached a stop sign . A dozen little demons eyeing them up for a ride!

Looks like the mask that the bad guy wore in an old dirty Harry movie with Clint Eastwood.

We called that boot-scootin in my day.

Hated when we hit a dry or salted part of the road. Things got dicey and had a few bad nose dives as I recall. Had a few kids jack onto the bumper of my vehicle years back as I remember. I could always feel the extra drag on the vehicle when they hooked on. smile

Skitching! Did it in college when doing under-grad at UW - Superior. Fun time!

Forever in debt to my Father who introduced me to trapping.

We called it scitching back in the late 60’s and early 70’s , can’t believe we didn’t invent it , lol .

We called it bumper shine ing. Funny all the different names for it.

City buses in the late 70s would speed up once you grabbed on.

tried to get my step grand daughter and her boy friend to try it yesterday. Him 20 and her 18. Both thought I was nuts and chickened out. He even plays hockey but was a chicken. So I had him drive and I did it. LOL The streets in the neighborhood were perfect for it. Mostly ice with a bit of snow cover.

Now today I am paying for it. These old joints are screamin bloody murder. But it is still worth it.
