I have some nuisance beaver jobs lined up that I will start on when it opens up. Prices too bad for me to do any under ice trapping.

Still running a couple miles, a dozen footholds and 17 cables. We got 10" of snow Wednesday, spent all day yesterday clearing sets and making trails to the cables.
United we stand,divided we fall.

Pulled my coyote sets last Sunday, yotes here are getting rubbed real bad. Have a few otter sets out yet.( 1 to go yet ) when weather warms a bit will get a few skunk sets out. Mainly to get out and keep this old guys carcass active. Hoping to get up north in March and set a few beaver traps.

Skunks always here no season lots of complaints get several calls a week. Set for cats pulled after I caught one on each side of the river then checked cams and had cats on cams West River the season is open until the 15th so I reset. Also had skunks and coons during the warm up on the cams so that’s my gas money.
The problem I ran into was the skunks and coons pulled the baits out of the cubbies attracting raptors so I had to set the trails away from the cubbies and not the cubbies themselves. I added some footholds on the trails away from the cubbies to avoid problems and cat cages and coon cages close to the cubbies.
Pulled chips today I had a coon and a skunk I’ll see what’s on them later tonight.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!
