For those who don’t believe and therefore don’t try. I wish you could have been at the Colorado State Capitol Yesterday. To hear the murmuring and the “oh, my goshes” from our legislators as sportsmen from every corner of Colorado filled the old Supreme Court room, where the senate AG committee took up sb 22-031. As the room filled and the the over flow rooms filled, a brief delay ensued as the chairwoman hesitantly removed the social distancing requirements to accommodate all. The great turn out, thousands of personalized emails, great efforts by leaders of multiple sportsman/outdoor groups, and the poignant in person testimonies all came together to overwhelmingly convince all but one legislator to vote no on sb22-031. And with one senator indefinitely suspending the bill. I took my 11 year old daughter who enthralled with process. What a great experience and victorious outcome. Yes, the same groups will try again, but this is their fourth loss, and with every attempt they expose more and more weaknesses in hypocracy and false logic. BIG SHOUT OUT TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THIS HAPPEN!

Yes, the same groups will try again, but this is their fourth loss, and with every attempt they expose more and more weaknesses in hypocracy and false logic. BIG SHOUT OUT TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THIS HAPPEN! Really great to hear, I sent a very personalized 2-3 page email to them explaining why I felt like the bill was not correct. Hopefully more wins like this will help other legislators see that we do far more good than the antis want them to believe. Thanks to you guys for sticking to your guns and turning out!

It was a house bill to ban all feline harvest in Colorado. Although yesterday is a "win" they will continue to come at every instance of hunting, trapping, commercial gain from wildlife until it is all gone. Party today but start digging in tomorrow! Thanks to all that put forth the effort!

There needs to be some kind of “double jeapordy” clause. When they win, it seems permanent. When We win, they keep coming at us, at the next session. The biggest enemy we have is the states that allow ballot initiatives. That is how the anti's get their bills passed. Thank God we don't have that here.
