The original Magnificent Seven was better in my opinion. Also has the two best lines in any western. Eric

I don't know if there's a bigger fan of Mclintock than my wife.She saw it at the theater when it came out and still never misses a chance to see it again.Actually,I don't know if I have a favorite of Wayne's westerns,I like all of them.Tom Sellecks westerns are very good,Kevin Costners are too.The Outlaw Joey Wales is good,and of course there's the classic Tombstone,with Kurt Russell.

I wasn't a huge fan of the original Shane,the story seemed too hurried.I wish they'd do a remake of it,and stick as close as possible to the book.

I just read the book a couple weeks ago. I thought the movie was pretty close.
