ol' dad You're not thinking through this. This would be your boss is restricting your free speech, and telling you he is going to pay black people more and promote only the people who agree with his political views.

Bitchute ,Odesy are all upcoming new platforms that will put communiust Youtube out of buisness someday. If I was into the stock market I would by a bunch of Rumble shares. Trump will be on that platform soon and they just offered Joe Rogan 100 million dollars to drop Spotify and join Rumble.

They've been silencing people for a long time. I won't watch a video on there unless its my only coice, and even then I go without more than not. Folks that post them on here, and Facebook pages I just skip over and figure I did without for most my life without the internet.

so your saying it would be like a news network telling a journalist we are only publishing stories that support our position , there will be no more opposition articles.
last I checked that is what news papers and editors did.
I know there was hope for a platform where all the free lance journalists could write , perform , how ever they liked but that was a ruse to lure in the free lance talent at a bargain price.
now it will be like any other media organization , publish what they want to fit their agenda
what I agree with is it is time for a new forum a competitor to YouTube for others to take their content to.
I understand why your upset , it is going to eat into your income , but like any journalist that realizes they just can't work for their editor or their media outlet any longer , well it sucks looking for a new job.

ol' dad There comes a point where: if a private company has enough market share and enough influence over people and has colluded with government or political parties enough that they are working hand in hand with the government to push a particular political agenda - the lines between private company and government become blurred. At that point where a private company becomes the propaganda wing of the government machine, civil rights like the right to free speech might apply to those using the service. Even deciding who can and who can't use such a quasi-government service might also be an infringement of rights. Youtube, Facebook, and some others may have left the realm of private.

Youtube, Facebook, and some others may have left the realm of private. well now that is an excellent point if the USPS started censoring mail based on what we were saying or the books we were shipping that would be a clear case. because we have so much collusion between FB YouTube and the Government at what point is it censoring free speech. that is an excellent angle to approach it from , first it was demonetizing videos if you said the wrong thing then DE platforming if you said something too far , but when it became censoring your content to apprise a government with that goes too far. healthy competition is probably the most clear answer however , the government nor big tech will give in easily to admitting their collusion.

ol' dad What if your boss was given blanket immunity by the government from prosecution for slander, libel, defamation and discrimination? While you as an independent creator have not.

There are enough people that will look the other way and continue to use their site, that they have no reason to change.
When enough people stop clicking on their site they will either change or go down. Nice fantasy. Youtube is proof that we have already lost the culture war. They don't care if all the trappers go elsewhere, we are a tiny piece of the pie and won't cost them anything long term.
Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Hunters are another piece too, and I believe big enough piece to matter but like I said, enough will look the other way for some coin or to watch.

When enough people stop clicking on their site they will either change or go down. Youtube will eventually succumb to market forces, particularly if we get a conservative government that will do away with section 231 protection. Until then they are the big player in the market and they can't totally stifle the truth from being said.

Don't mean anything to me. My videos there are mainly to show friends and family and others I can help. That's all the payment I get. It sure would suck if you rely on it for money, unless you're a gay, black, climate change nut. Or pimp your neked wife for money. Can't believe how many do that. But my video content is about like ADC. So of the alternatives, Rumble, Bitchute and Odysee, which is the best alternative home for folks like us? It matters to me cause youtube put a stupid age restriction on my last video........for no good reason in my view.
