Any reports from the sale? The live auction was Wednesday and Thursday.

I know the guys that put on the sale are probably dog tired but hopefully some one will speak up give us some info.

Was reading on another site that they are not going to post results due to the problems they are already having in CO. Figured this would just add to their already growing problems.
If you want to know, you will have to call one of them. They are also asking sellers to refrain from posting results. I had a bunch of items on the sale also.

Thanks for the information. Makes sense and a responsible decision by the CTA. Hope they are able to win this battle.

It’s a sad day when we fear posting sale results. It’s all over, just a matter of when the last guy quits.

All typical CO politics, Ban this, ban that. Right now they are trying to ban sale of fur items in a couple of the larger cities. They did defeat the bobcat and lion bill, which was to ban harvesting the two species.

Was aware of the cat issue. Didn’t know about the fur bans. Didn’t Aspen or
Vail ban fur sales 20+ years ago?

Back in the day I sold fur direct to a furrier in Lakewood Colorado. Greek guy George something. Right near Colfax and Sheridan

How times change.

The whole front range is a liberal Hotspot, the rest of the state hates the front range!

Sorry you all, its just the political climate we live in today. So thanks for understanding.

I never thought we would live in a day when you didnt know who you could trust. It was a cooperative decision by many, and I think justified considering the issues at hand.

I actually retired or resigned from the auction this year myself. After being a part of that Assoc. at some level my entire adult life its time to let someone else have a crack at. Unless you have done the auction thing and the logistics it is alot of work. And a logistical nightmare. In short, im tired. I will always bleed the Assoc., it was a true passion, and not a personal agenda. Thanks to all the sellers, buyers, crew, volunteers, my wife for putting up with all my crap all these years. It was a good ride, and no regrets.

I believe this concerns the recent sale?

Scheide, it's worse than that. There is legislation in plat that will ban the sale of any wildlife parts in the whole state and the selling of any Colorado wildlife parts outstate.

Muskeg, if you are who I think you are, when I was at the CO sale and people found out I was from several asked me if I knew Bill .... who moved back to MN

So, there's no way to see the results of the sale?

I think the people in the rural counties of Colorado better think on breaking away from the front range counties, make a nice little horseshoe around them. Let's see if they have the 'nads to try force in making you stay with them. There needs to be a number of states split up. Either a "divorce" now or more kinetic and messier issues later. Very sad to see...
